life.
• I ♥ SING ♥ everything from classical literature to opera to Broadway show tunes.
• I also play violin; I've been playing since I was eight or nine years old.
• Recently, I picked up piano. I'm still figuring the whole black and ivory thing, but I'm getting there. .
• Broadway musicals rock my socks hard core; can't get enough of them.
• I enjoy discussing the political affairs of today. I'm a democrat, but that doesn't mean that I'm not open to other views.
• History is another one of my loves. I'm like a walking encyclopedia.
• I'm big into my Italian heritage. Guardi fuori, questa ragazza italiana ha un temperamento. That doesn't mean I'm not proud of my Irish, German, and Austrian roots however.
• I'm a bull Taurus, that is.
• Give me a box of canolies and I'm yours.
• I am a slave to academia, meaning that succeeding in school is very important to me.

• I'm a generally cheerful, bubbly, goofy person.

As my title states, I'm singing Jekyll & Hyde at the top of my lungs. (Mr. Clement, my vioce teacher isn't going to be happy I'm straining my voice...yeah I think I'll stop.) Welll the song I'm listening to is very true about human nature. It's called "Good & Evil". Here's the lyrics:

My philosophy

How do you tell evil from good?
Evil does well - good not so good!
Evil's the one that is free everywhere -

Good maintain evil's a curse! -
But it is plain good's even worse!
Evil's the one that they tell you to shun -
Good is the one to embrace
Say that and Satan will laugh right in your face!
The battle between good and evil
Goes back to the start -
Adam and Eve and the apple tore Eden apart!
The key thing about good 'n' evil -
Each man has to choose! -
Heaven 'n' hell
Is a helluva gamble to lose! -
But as I peruse
This world we abuse -
It's hell that we choose -
And heaven must lose!
Evil is everywhere -
Good doesn't have a prayer!
Good is commendable -
Evil's dependable!
Evil is viable
Good's unreliable!
Good may be thankable!
Evil is bankable!
Evil's for me - you can have good!
Doesn't suit me to be Robin Hood!

It seems like that anyway sometimes...perhaps not all the time. Anyway, I adore this musical...it rocks my world, not to mention my socks. lol
