ABOUT ME
• Hey there. I'm Laura. How're you, love? Let's see...
• Music is my
life.
• I ♥ SING ♥ everything from classical literature to opera to Broadway show tunes.
• I also play violin; I've been playing since I was eight or nine years old.
• Recently, I picked up piano. I'm still figuring the whole black and ivory thing, but I'm getting there. .
• Broadway musicals rock my socks hard core; can't get enough of them.
• I enjoy discussing the political affairs of today. I'm a democrat, but that doesn't mean that I'm not open to other views.
• History is another one of my loves. I'm like a walking encyclopedia.
• I'm big into my Italian heritage. Guardi fuori, questa ragazza italiana ha un temperamento. That doesn't mean I'm not proud of my Irish, German, and Austrian roots however.
• I'm a bull Taurus, that is.
• Give me a box of canolies and I'm yours.
• I am a slave to academia, meaning that succeeding in school is very important to me.
• Ergo, I'm going to go to a good college with an excellent music and academic program. NAZARETH '11
• I LOVE Europe! I miss my AMA loves!
• I'm a generally cheerful, bubbly, goofy person.
• Someday, you'll see me on stage or on a record shelf. Keep your eyes and hears open.
• I'm a book worm, whenever I get the chance to read a book outside of my busy schedule.
• My friends and family are very important to me.
• I love beig a goofball. Ask my friends.
. Oh, yeah. HEY STEVE!

<3 A damn good one.
Friday: worked on paper, did other homework, watched Harispray the movie with mom. haha
Saturday: worked more on paper, went to Niska-Day, hung out at Vis booth, ate Chinese with Tina, Tasha, and Katelyn and all theose cool guys, hiung out with Kayden, Dante and Kelsey, bought really cool guitar earings, hung out with Kayden, Mitch, Stan, and Sean, and then met up with family at Burner's U.K. The night ended with an amazing fireworks which was about half of our town's budget. lol jk
Sunday: CDYC talent gala. My solo rocked everyone's world; at least, that's what I was told. Holy crap, I am in love with that song I sang, "Moonfall" from the Mystery of Edwin Drood. Lots of talent in the group. Very cool . I'lkl miss all of the senioras. :-( Ok so then my family and I ordered pizza and hung out with Aunt Chris. Late that night, I finished that paper at around 3 in the morning.
Hmmm...things are going relatively well minus the academic stress of the end of the year, especially with the Math B and Chem. Oi. I really need to focus, study, continue to do my work and get help if I need it, and just push thorugh. Be a fighter. Amen. Oh man Manny, Heather, Mimi and Noah came back to orchestra today fmor college. Aparently, they're playing the Magic Flute and the Mozart Requiem. Coolness. Oh the memoriesof my first two years with Niskyuna Symphony Orchestra.
Btw, Requiem is going to kick ass. Oha nd it's THIS THRUSDAY! Go if you can. I'll be playing the violin for Magic Flute and singing for the Requiem. :-D Even if classical music is not your cup of tea, come and appreaciate the quality and beauty of the masterworks. Seriously. You do NOT want to miss all of your friends putting on aan evening of high-calibur performance and musicality. TIckets are still availible but they're going fast. $10 adults $5 students/seniors General seating only.
Ok that's my speal for the night. *cough come to the requiem this thursday cough cough* Back to APUSH-ing...(yes, it is a verb just as much as googling is. lol)

That is ine fantastic song, man. Good stuff. So I totally uploaded a bunch of old rock songs fvorm my Dad's various cds. It's fantastic. He really wants that Spike Jones collection however. I do, too. Spike Jones may be "the man who murdered music" but he's freakin' amazing at paradies. Damn, in der furher's face is wonderful. If you don't know who Spike Jones is, go check him out. He's the man of music and comedy. The forties in the U.S of A would not have been the same without him.
blah blah blah I don't feel like doing anything for English. It's raining and will continue to rain for Prom. Dang. Well, I'm not going to let a little rain or an English paper stop me from having fun. ^_^. It'll be fantastic.

1.) I love music and I want it to always be there in my life, no matter what.
2.) I've decided that I'm going to be an independent woman. I don't want to end up in a lovely, seemingly perfect relationship, get married, and then find out that my husband is a jerk. I don't want to make that mistake. It seems to me that in some aspects, at least from what I have observed, that marriage is over-rated.
Now I have a little bit more clearer idea of what I want in my life. At least, that's what I think I want. Things could change. Who knows, I might change my mind. I just want things to go well. I do realize things will not always go according to plan, but I want inner peace and fulfillment;accomplishment. you know this little realizaiton I just had remind me of two things; Pippin the musical and a mid-life crisis. Now, I like the show Pippin but I'm certainly not a wishy washy average Joe like the lovable protagonist was and I'm definitely not middle aged. So am I having self-doubts or just a teenaged-life crisis? o.O I doubt the last one really exists because teens, including myslef, can be over-dramatic.
Ah well, like I said; I only want inner peace, fulfillment, and accomplishment. I feel like I could use a little bit more of that kind of stuff in my life.

SO the CDYC trip was all in all fabulous; lots of laughs and good music-making. Pictures soon to follow.
YAY NO MORE APS. I think I did alright. I hope I got at least a 3 on both of my exams. Well, I did the best I could and that's all that matters.
I got my prom dress yesterday. It's all set, All I really need to worry about is the boutineer for Kevin, nails, hair, and makeup. Oh yeah, and have a great time. =^_^=
Aaaaaah academia is still killing me,, even after APs. Oi vey, help! Math is so frekain' hard. I'll have to work extra hard to do well then Fair enough. I'll probably need some help though.
Ok kids, I'm off to go get some help in Math and then Vis meeting. Ciao, mah dahlings.

APs are killing me. Stupid exams. I swear, I cried like five times today which really bugs me. (I hate crying in fornt of people because I'm afraid that I look weak. Oh well)Oh man, US History is tomorrow. Wish me luck. Please let me get a three or higher. English was Monday which I think went alright.
Ok...um two stupid sophomores are going to boss me around next year in the Warrior. I don't like that. At all. Hey, I'm an assistant news editor again. Great...At least, Zach is the same age as me. Oh and I'll be the most experienced, which means I'll know more about the paper than most of the section. (minus Zach and Joanne) w00t then. I guess it'll be cool. We'll still be awesome and if not, at least I will. :-D
MY BIRTHDAY IS THIS SATURDAY! Yay! I'll be 17. w00t Plus, I'm going on a competition in Buffalo tomorrow, right after the APUSH exam, with CDYC. Huzzah for a much needed mini-vacation.
Ciao all! I really need to get back to studying. Aaaah!
