So, this weekend was filled with alumni, grad parties, grad ceremonies, and, of coarse, lots of fun. :-D On Thursday, Kevin came over for a little bit and we chilled at STarbuck's and Central Park. 'Twas lovely. I then went to Proctor's to play for our school's graduation with our orchestra. A long evening but a pleasant and "heart-warming" one. It was kind of strange seeing all of my Senior friends turn into an alumnus one-by-one. I got to go to another ceremony, Kevin's, except this time I got to sit proudly with his family as he received his "diploma". (They actually give you a blank leather bound folder an doyu have to pick up your diploma later.) WE returned to Kevin's place, had some banana foster cake (yum!), and watched the Mets game. Nathan (his brother), Kevin, and I love making fun of the Snake's on a plan music. hahahahaha And finally, today my family and I went to Kevin's party and met the rest of the family. Lots of bocce ball, volleyball, food, fun, talk, presents for Kevin(He liked the mini-fridge we got him. Poor Kevin didn't win the one at After-Prom so we got him one as compensation.), and a family blue-grass band; composed of Kevin's Dad, Uncles, Grandfather, and cousins. Kevin and I went party-hopping for a little bit. haha I love Voorheesville people, but especially Kevin. <3 His mother was amazed at how well both of our families got along so well. She said it was scary. Mom thinks she's alluding to the fact that perhaps, someday Kevin and I might get closer and whatever. Dad doesn't think so and just mentioned that perhaps she meant thtat not everyone fits in. Whatever her remark menat, I'm glad that this day was a good time for all, including myself. Although Kevin and I saw each other three days in a row, I still wish I stayed longer. Kevin wanted to chill with his relatives ffrom Alabama, whom he doesn't see too often. Well, I'll see him soon.
