I went to the opera for the first time earlier this evening. I have to say, Tartuffe is splendidly witty and I whole-heartidly enjoyed it.
Highlights include Dorine's powerful voice and comic flair as well as Tartuffe's bumbling pantless attempted seduction of Elmaire. hahahaha.
So, I definitely want to study opera?
At the moment, I believe so.

I am officially an alumna of high school. Wow. It feels so unreal to be finished with 13 years of public school. It's a wonderful, scary, as well as surreal thing. One night of pomp and circumstance and all of the tests, Friday night fun, college stuff, and auditions are over? Crazy.
Graduation went really well, even though I thought Mrs. B wasn't going to be there to accompany me since she wasn't at the sound check. Well, everything turned out fabulous. I sang "Think of Me" from Phantom of the Opera. Oh man, I was told that I was freakin' awesome, that people never knew I could sing like that, that I sounded beautifully and I even made my Grandfather and perfect strangers cry. A grand performance to sum up four years of hard work, determination, and finesé. All that's left to say now is: WOOOHOOO!
Photos! This is me performing "Think of Me". That's Matt and I after receiving our diplomas! :-DTo my fellow graduates: a job well done! We're so close-knit, supportive and talented as a whole. I will miss you all and wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavours. ^_^Nazareth, here I come! Summer is here now! That means work and grad parties up the wazoo, as well as preparing for college. Crazy!

Surprise!I filled out most of my job applications today. We'll see what happens. I went to make copies for my mom, which required waking up the computer when out of the blue...SURPISE, KEVIN IMed ME!I was like, "Wth, mate?"...Not that we didn't have a nice conversation, but it was definitely out of the blue. So today, I went all around town enquiring about jobs/summer hiring. I've mostly applied to places; haven't heard much. The funny thing is, I was with my Mom and talking about Matt when suddenly from around the corner...SURPRISE, MATT!I was like O.O....YAY!!!! *glomp* It was pretty stellar to see him, if only for a few minutes. Oh, and did I mention I get to see him tomorrow after graduation rehearsal and the senior bbq?^________^Life is good.

So.High school is over and done with, eh? I've been having the strangest feelings because of this lately; should I be jumping up and down or crying about this? Well, I guess I should do neither. It's been a pretty damn good four years and now I'm about to have another damn good four years of education. Sure, I'll probably have a nostalgic attack sometime during college and crave for high school sillyness, but I doubt it will overcome me. Anyways, enough with this sort of banter. There are things to be done, people to see, places to go, etc.

I seriously never write in this thing ever. I never have time. It's been so busy lately.Alexander Nevsky was ridiculously AMAZING. Homaigah. We totally went out with a bang. I don't know of many high schools that can pull that off with such grace and professionalism as mine. ^_^School has been winding down rather quickly. In actuality, there are only FIVE days of classes left and three days of finals. That is smashing and frightening at the same time. Crazy.PRISM concert was excellent as well. What fun. I have to tell you, however, it was brutal in there; so freakin' hottttttt.Everyone was a sweaty mess, but it was worth it in the end. Oh yeah, Matt is a sweetie. The end.
