Wow. The past few weeks have been cra-zay;end of the quarter, auditions for Drood, Area All-State, etc. It's almost over. NOw I have to get all my homework done today. Gah!
Area All-State was all right. I mean Dr. Coleman should have shown us better cut-offs and been more sensitive to dynamics. Oh well. Still, people said that we sounded good. The orchestra kicked ass. I didn't hear the Jazz band since they were before us and we had to reherse then. I didn't hear all of Symphonic Band since we had to get home for Michael and Chrissy. They sounded good too. All in all, an interesting learning experience with nicew people and a lot of really really good sight-reading.
After the drive home from Saratoga, Mom and I had to eat dinner quickly because we had to go to Kevin's play Arsenic and Old Lace. He was Rev. Harper and Lit. Rooney. I never realized what a great voice Kevin had for theater. Kevin was great. So cute. His beard's gone! I was like "Where did it go?" *rubs face* ZOMG I ran into Aly who also went on AMA this summer. I sat next to her in rehersals. She was Elaine Harper. KEvin was her father?! O.o weird but w/e it's theater. I also ran into Eric Shovah who I've known since I was a kid. We did a lot of shows together. Weird, because he's directing the show with kids who are my age. fun fun. They have a nice theater department in Voorheesville. Very cool. It'spretty new with state of the art stuff. Ooh I'm so happy for Kevin. Wonderful job V'ville Dionysians. w00t! Break a leg for the matinee today!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I don't want to do homeowrk.....................blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
First rehersal tomorrow for Drood. YAY!!!! ^_^
